Handgun I:
Carry Permit Certification
Meets and exceeds Tennessee's training requirements for a
handgun carry permit. The course covers handgun
nomenclature, firearms safety, loading and unloading,
marksmanship, proper presentation of the weapon, safe and
effective weapons handling, and legal issues affecting the
armed citizen. The student must take and pass an academic
examination and a firearms proficiency test. Students who
successfully complete the course receive a certificate
entitling them to apply for a handgun carry permit.
Inexperienced shooters are especially encouraged to attend
this course, even if they do not intend to acquire a permit.

Dynamics of Defensive
Gunfighting

lethal encounter. Disengagement is considered as a viable
option. Numerous interactive drills and scenarios are
offered. Enrollment is limited and only advanced students
should apply.
Special equipment
requirement: Airsoft or Paintball-style protective face mask
